Do you use LinkedIn Apps? Let me know in the Comments below. LinkedIn has more mobile apps than any other social network including LinkedIn, Pulse, Jobs, Groups, LinkedIn Learning and SlideShare. If you use any others, please let me know.
Social media tip
This week’s tip is to use Search Alerts on LinkedIn. A few social media bloggers have pointed out that Search Alerts have been removed following the redesign of the desktop, but this isn’t the case. If you use a filter on search results, you’ll see the option to create or manage Search Alerts on the right hand side. A really handy feature that saves you from having to input search criteria each time you run a search plus you can be emailed new results on a weekly basis.
Tools talk
‘Who’s viewed your profile’ is a tremendously useful feature on LinkedIn. Worth reviewing regularly then messaging viewers to thank them for viewing your profile and asking if there’s anything you can help them with. Quick and easy to use on the mobile app too.

35% of LinkedIn users passwords are weak enough to hack according to Preempt. Last year, LinkedIn revealed that email addresses and passwords of more than 164 million users were stolen in a massive hack in 2012 so it’s important that your password for each of your social networks is strong and unique - go to Lastpass strong password generator.
