Spring Clean your Twitter

It makes sense to follow people and content that you’re interested in on Twitter. There’s no point in following inactive accounts, spammers and people that are no longer relevant to you. With Spring being a traditional time for cleaning now is a good opportunity to review the people that you’re following.

You can use ManageFlitter to identify those that meet these criteria.  You can then review and decide whether you want to unfollow them.

  • Not Following Back
  • No Profile Image
  • Fake Following
  • Non-English
  • High Ratio
  • Inactive
  • Talkative
  • Quiet

You can find out the exact definition of the above terms by logging into ManageFlitter. Further functionality such as identifying appropriate people to follow are available if you upgrade to a Pro-version which start at $12 per month.

What’s your favourite Twitter tool? Let me know in the comments below.
