Find out what works on your Facebook Page
Not that long after the previous upgrade, Facebook have once again revamped Insights - the measurement tool for Pages. If you have a Page and have never checked out Insights you really should and it’s a tool that can show you what works and what doesn’t.
Insights help you understand your audience and helps you find out what content interests them most. You can then improve engagement with your conent and encourage sharing which will help you maintain your existing fans and obtain new ones.
For example, you can review your posts and find out which ones that are being shared the most. You can then post more of this type of content if you want to increase the number of people interacting with your content or ‘talking about you’ as Facebook puts it.
One of the most interesting new statistics is ‘Friends of Fans’ and you might be surprised at the size of this number. These are people who can potentially see the activity of your fans and are therefore all potential fans themselves.
To access Insights select the link on the left of your Page. You can continue to access Old Insights via the link on the right until the middle of next month.
