Google+ Pages - 2 well designed examples
Although it’s only just over a week since Google+ Pages launched, many brands have been quick to claim their space. Two examples of well designed Pages are Red Bull and Hugo Boss.
I really like the use of animation at the top of the Red Bull Page which is very eye catching. This area known is knows as the scrapbook in Google+ and is the equivalent of Facebook’s photo strip. They’re also using the Page to showcase videos with each of the four posts published together with a video. The Hugo Boss Page is very ‘on brand’ with their logo using the profile pic space and suited model photo filling the whole scrapbook. Like the Red Bull Page it’s very visual with photos or video accompanying all bar one of nine posts.
Incidentally, Red Bull and Hugo Boss have great Pages on Facebook too.
